Being a Drupal user, you may or may not know about the Drupal Security page. It's an important page, that you can subscribe to via RSS feed, but we recommend that you subscribe to the email list as well.

It's important to keep up to date with security issues in Drupal - and though you can receive messages within Drupal itself when you log in about updates to the CMS as well as themes and modules, it is recommended that you subscribe to the email list, and read it. 

The amount of time you could lose from having your site hacked is far more than it takes to read the email and to follow up on issues. You will be able to sleep deeper at night and will be a happy person.
